Life at Ty-Sylfaen

Updated: Oct 9, 2020

Autumn has arrived in Glangwryney and nature's palate is in transition.

At the bottom of the garden the apple tress are laden with fruit. There are interesting walks available from the cottage, where you can observe the subtle changes of the leaves from green to gold. Travel further afield for a gorgeous woodland walk leading to the waterfall - Sgwy Y Eira, Brecon Beacons. This is extra special as you can walk behind the waterfall. This walk can be extended taking in 'The Four Falls Walk', which is at least a three hour walk.

Another walk which is suitable for everyone Sgydau Sychyd, Dinas Rock Neath. There are spectacular waterfalls along the route.
